Hi, I’m Dave, an IFMGA-certified mountain guide based in Chamonix. I offer private guiding and hands-on courses to help you climb, ski, and explore the Alps safely and confidently. Everyone should have the chance to discover the Mountains. I can help take you on that challenge, or teach you the skills to find it on your own.
What is an IFMGA Guide?
An IFMGA (International Federation of Mountain Guides Associations) guide is a fully certified professional trained to lead people safely in the world’s mountains. Achieving IFMGA certification takes a minimum of three years and requires extensive technical skills in climbing, mountaineering, and skiing, as well as training in safety, rescue, and client care. When you hire an IFMGA guide, you’re working with someone whose expertise and experience meet the highest international standards.
